Purpose, legal basis and storage period
If you make a purchase on the website, we process your personal data in order to deliver goods to you, process payments and manage complaints. For these purposes, we process the infor-mation that you enter on the website, including for example name, email address and similar identification data.
The processing is carried out for the performance of a contract to which you are party, in ac-cordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Enquiries and support
If you contact us in connection with our offer of products on the website, we process your name, your contact details and other information that you provide to us in connection with the inquiry in order to respond to it.
The processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to respond to your requests, where it is considered that our legitimate interest in processing the personal data outweighs your interest in not having the data processed, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The data will be deleted after 3 months from your last enquiry or at the time when there is no longer any reason to believe that further correspondence will be necessary.
Creating a user account
If you create an user account on our website, we process your data in order to manage your ac-count. For this purpose, we process your name, contact details and password, as well as any other information you may provide to us.
The processing is carried out for the performance of a contract to which you are party, in ac-cordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The data will be deleted 6 months after your account is terminated, subject to our legal obliga-tions below.
Cookies
When you visit nineunitedcare.com, we collect certain information about your use of our website via cookies, including, for example, the type of browser you use, the search terms you use, your IP address, including your network location and information about your computer, pages visited and purchases made and not made, in order to compile statistics to improve the website and to target our marketing to your interests.
The processing is carried out in accordance with your consent as set out in Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on 'Adjust cookies consent' at the bottom of the page. If you withdraw your consent, this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before.
We will retain the information collected via cookies until your consent is withdrawn or (if consent is not withdrawn) for up to 6 months after the personal data in question has been collected. However, for a period of up to 2 years after your consent has been withdrawn, we will keep documentation of your consent. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in being able to document prior consent, as set out in Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, as it is deemed to outweigh your interest in the data not being processed.

Legal obligations and rights
We process information for the purpose of fulfilling our legal obligations and to provide evi-dence to the competent authorities under the provisions of the Medical Devices Regulation (MDR).
The processing is carried out in order to fulfil our legal obligation under the MDR Directive, cf. GDPR, Article 6(1)(c).
The information is deleted after 10 years from the last equipment has been placed on the mar-ket, cf. MDR, Annex 4, chapter 3, section 7.
In addition, we may process the personal data mentioned above for the purpose of establish-ing, exercising or defending our legal rights in a dispute, a complaint or an investigation initi-ated by a public authority. In this case, the legal basis for our processing is our legitimate in-terest in processing the data, which is deemed to outweigh your interest in not having the data processed, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Transfer of your personal data to third parties
Your data may be entrusted/disclosed to the following third parties:
a. Service providers and suppliers that assist with our business activities, including for example hosting service providers, analytical tools, marketing services, IT services, transport and logistics companies.
b. External advisors.
c. Other third parties if you consent or if they are involved in an acquisition involving all or part of our business or assets therein.
Transfer of yourpersonal data to
countries outside the EU
We will transfer your personal data to recipients outside the EU/EEA. This includes certain service providers and suppliers that assist with our business activities.
All transfers to data processors located outside the EU are made in compliance with valid safe-guards in the form of the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses, as set out in Article 46 of the Data Protection Regulation.

In certain cases, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data.

You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Where technically feasible, you have the right to request that the personal data be transmitted directly to another entity or person act-ing as data controller.
f. The right to object:
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. This means that you can stop or prevent the processing of your personal data. However, this only ap-plies in certain cases and we do not have to stop processing your personal data if there are legitimate reasons to continue processing.
